- Solar powered: no wiring required. Why spend up to £70 fitting a mains operated PIR lamp
- 12 super-bright LED supply a blue/white light over an area of about 580 square feet.
- Passive Infrared Detector (PIR) is triggered by any movement within range (approximately 580 square feet in front of the unit) and turns the light on. Any human or animal movement will be detected. The unit turns off after one minute, and if movement is still detected it turns on again immediately.
- Light up the area in front of all doors at night. It is also ideal for lighting sheds, garages and outbuildings.
- Fits onto almost any surface; brick, stone or wood using the fitting kit supplied.
- Ideal for use as a path light. Mount at ground level and a path will be illuminated as soon as movement is detected.
- Neat and compact: measurements in cm. Body 10 x 6. Solar Panel 12 diameter. Light Face 6 diameter (this contains the 12 LED and the PIR Detector).
- The solar panel recharges the three Ni-MH AA800mAh rechargeable batteries (these are supplied and fitted) during the day. The batteries will supply about 150 one minute light outputs when fully charged; more than enough for for a night's requirement.

Excellent Product
We originally brought just 3 of the lights and have just purchased another 2 because we found the lights to be of excellent quality. The light is very bright and we find that it stays on for the right amount of time. Excellent service and speedy delivery too

Needed work
I bought two of these and took them to Spain. At first they wouldnt work at all so I took them apart, fitted the batteries properly, reassembled them, and they worked really well. Charged up in a day and the light is quite bright. They would be better if you could adjust the time that the light stays on for.

It's possible the batteries came loose in transit but you were able to identify this quickly.
The light stays on for about a minute each time. This enables it to come on/off for a full night in normal usage. A timer would increase the complexity/cost of the product and affect the ability to last a full night.
